Frequently asked questions

Below are answers to some of the most common support questions about E-CLAUT.

  • You receive an invitation email when purchasing your E-Claw 2.0 machine. Follow the steps in this email to get started. You will be asked to create your customer profile & set the Super Admin user profile of your company account.
  • You receive an invitation email of your Super Admin User to start using your company account as a user.

Cannot find your login details back or didn't receive an email? Please contact the ELAUT team and we'll send you a new invitation link.

You can choose between two login methods:

  1. Request a code via email or use the magic link in the email to access your account.
  2. Set up a password in your account and login the traditional way.

Both options are designed to ensure secure access while fitting your preferred way of working.

If a user is unable to log in to E-CLAUT, follow these steps to troubleshoot the issue:

  1. Check the user’s email address
Only registered email addresses can login. Please check spelling. The customer admin user has an overview of all registered email addresses.
  2. Reset the user's password
Start by initiating a password reset via the login screen.
  3. Check if the user is blocked
If the reset doesn’t work, an administrator should verify whether the user account is blocked or inactive.
  4. Contact ELAUT support
If the issue persists after the above checks, reach out to ELAUT’s support team for further assistance.

These steps help ensure secure access while minimizing downtime for your team.

Currently, E-CLAUT supports a single admin-user setup for accessing and managing settings.

However, role-based access layers are in development to offer more flexibility and control. These will allow different users to access only the data relevant to their role.

Examples include:

  • Arcade Manager: Manage one or more locations and create new users
  • Accountant: Access to commercial and financial data only
  • Technician: Access to technical data and predefined machine settings

This layered approach will help streamline operations while maintaining data security and clarity across teams.

Role-based access layers allow different users to access only the data relevant to their role.

Examples of layers include:

  • Location manager: Full access to location
  • Technician: Settings on read & write to input information
  • Arcade attendant: Settings on read as they cannot make changes.

User access is managed by the customer’s admin user.

When a service team accesses machine data via E-CLAUT, the system provides near real-time visibility with the following timing:

  • Machine settings are updated in real time, with no delay.
  • Statistics, status updates, and other operational data have a buffer time of 5 to 25 seconds. This short delay ensures stable data transmission and accurate reporting.

This setup allows service teams to monitor and respond quickly, while maintaining data integrity.

If a device temporarily loses its internet connection, E-CLAUT ensures that no critical data is lost by storing it locally.

Here's how it works:

  • Local buffering: Each machine can store the full details of up to 100 individual games while offline.
  • Once the limit is reached: Sessions will be grouped, and some detailed data may be lost. However, all financial data (money in/out) is retained.
  • Impact on reporting: You’ll still have access to income reports per day, week, or month, but not per individual session.
  • Typical coverage: This buffer usually covers 1 to 3 days of activity, depending on traffic.

Once the device reconnects, all buffered data is automatically synced to the cloud.

Customers have full control over their E-CLAUT environment and can disable individual features as needed.

This allows for:

  • Tailored configurations based on operational needs
  • Simplified interfaces for specific user roles
  • Flexibility to activate or deactivate modules over time

Feature management can be done via the admin panel or in consultation with ELAUT support.

All data is synced between E-Claw 2.0 and E-CLAUT in real-time

After a normal reboot, the maximum buffer time between the game becoming playable and E-CLAUT data being fully up-to-date is 30 seconds.

This means: once the machine is operational again, E-CLAUT should reflect the correct data within half a minute.

This ensures smooth continuity in monitoring, statistics, and remote management.
